Spaanse brandweerman overleeft bosbrand niet 
Hevige bosbranden in het zuidoosten van Spanje hebben een brandweerman het leven gekost. Vier van zijn collega's raakten gewond. Er zijn 18 blusvliegtuigen ingezet, maar de brand is nog niet onder controle.

The fire broke afternoon out in Torremanzanas in Alicante, in an area with conifers. The fire is still not under control. The injured firefighters were taken to hospital.

 In Spain, the risk is currently very high on forest fires after the driest winter in 70 years. According to the Spanish government this year 132,000 hectares of forest went up in smoke
